After surgery or an injury, stitches (sutures) are used to close the wound. Once the wound has healed enough, the stitches need to be removed. This is usually done after a few days to two weeks, depending on the site and the doctor’s advice.

Our nurses are trained to remove sutures at home. They use sterile technique, check the wound, and remove the stitches safely. You do not need to go back to the hospital just for stitch removal.
